Before you begin

What are the essential controls?

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move with the camera, Shift to run, Space or left click to attack, E to eat or drink, R to rest, Z to sleep, F2/F3 for lion skills, Tab for the Field Journal, and Escape for the menu.

Which browsers and devices are supported?

The LION release candidate is intended for current desktop browsers with WebAssembly and WebGL support. Mobile and touch controls are not yet a supported target. A dedicated GPU and a stable connection will provide the strongest experience.

How do saves work?

Three versioned living-world slots are stored in this browser profile. The in-game Save Slots screen can save immediately, download the active world as JSON, or import a compatible LION save into the active slot. Automatic cloud sync is not included.

Which accessibility and performance settings exist?

The in-game menu includes quality presets, high contrast, reduced motion, subtitles or text cues, master volume, camera sensitivity, camera distance, and invert-Y controls. Fullscreen is available from the quiet browser toolbar after loading.

What does Release candidate mean here?

The complete LION systems, persistence, production export and public website are in place. Final acceptance still depends on owner playthroughs, long-session balance, browser endurance and presentation review.

Where can I learn the systems?

Start with the first-day survival guide, then read about wind and scent and water, heat, rest, and energy. Asset licenses and changes are listed in Credits.
