Field notes · Lion's Life release candidate

Know the savanna.
Never know everything.

WildLives reveals the world through animal senses. Start with these playable-system guides, then enter the field and learn what changes around you.

04

Water is a meeting place

Water keeps you alive, but herds, rivals, and human pressure gather around it. Arrive quietly, inspect the shoreline, and avoid treating a drink as a risk-free pause.

05

Night changes the balance

Cooler conditions reduce heat pressure, while visibility and animal routines change around you. The world clock, state line, and journal help explain what your lion currently knows.

06

Every prey is different

Zebra, buffalo, giraffe, elephant, wildebeest, and other animals use different health, speed, awareness, group, water, flight, and defensive behavior.

07

Rest is not safety

R rests at accelerated time; Z sleeps and heals faster. Nearby danger can block or interrupt sleep, so recovery works best after you have read the area.

08

The ecosystem continues

Weather, water, populations, territory, relationships, human pressure, and longer histories persist inside the selected living-world slot.

09

Release candidate means acceptance in progress

The full LION simulation is playable; browser endurance, balance, assistive-technology review, and owner long-session acceptance remain final test gates.
